I’ve been tagged!

Yeah, I am sooo happy. So, some way, will pay back Shelley for this. I’m thinking frozen underwear or her hand in water at the next retreat!
So, here goes, 7 random facts about Mel…
1. The first thing I ever had published was a poem in my college literary magazine.
2. I met my husband at a wedding. The groom and bride introduced us, thinking that we couldn’t be more wrong for each other. 17 years later…said bride and groom are now divorced.
3. Charlie McMurtry, younger brother of Larry and a fine poet, taught me how to waltz.
4. I can play the flute and twirl a flag, both of which I did in HS band.
5. By the time I was eight, I had lived in two different countries and visited 7 total.
6. I am the youngest of two children.
7. There are only two types of coffee I truly love. Kona(because they hook you on it when you live on the islands) and white chocolate mocha.
