First Day of Sweating

October 15, 2007 by Melissa

This is my first day up. About to get the second demon seed off and then try and ignore DH when he returns from PT.  But I worked on the plot for the short story and plan on finishing this up before I leave for Tennessee. It will be extremely rough, but I do much better if I get it on the page and go back and work on it later.

Will check back in later today. And Good Luck to all my fellow Sweaters.beautiful_tiago_gass15.jpg

UPDATE: Well, before 11 am I already hit my goal! But I am continuing on because I do have three days I need to take off. I am trying to at least reach 2K today so I don’t fall behind because of my trip to Tennessee and the Women’s Expo.

Good job! I always figure the first day you should write your butt off as much as you can, because those 0 word days will be lurking.

LOL, me too. I know there will days where kids’ activities will intrude. Not to mention my three trips before Christmas and my husband’s 10 day TDY where I get to play single parent. I know there will be a day where I will be lucky to get in 140 let alone 1400.

Woo-hoo, Melissa!!! Congrats on the great kick off to Sweating! ;)
I hope you have a great time in TN. Please say hi to Crissy at the Expo for me, okay? Maybe next year I’ll get down there for the festivities. In the meantime, best of luck with hitting your goals and thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving some encouragement. It’s much needed! :)
