Back to work

I have to say yesterday was a wonderful signing day! If you live in the Houston area, you need to stop by Katy Books. I had heard all about them from authors, but I have to say, it is joy to meet so many spectacular employees. They truly know customer service, and you can tell they know books.
I did the signing with Rosemary Poole-Carter , and I snatched her book Women of Magdalene. It is historical fiction set right after the civil war and it looks really interesting. You know me, if it is historical, I will give it a try, lol. She was a joy to do a signing with and talk about her research.
Also, Ali and her cousin Elisa stopped by and I had a late lunch with them. It is sad that I have to leave Texas and won’t get to see Ali that much more:( But, since the family is in Texas and I now have at least two stores that would like to have me back, I will probably make a quick trip back sometime in late 2008 or 2009. I have several prints coming out, including A Little Harmless Pleasure, Leather and Lace, and then Purgatory with Kally:)
Ali and Elisa were so nice and super patient while I did my handprint in paint for Katy Books. It is something they do with the authors who sign there. I hope to get to do another one next year!

Off to work on edits, new stuff and OMG contest entries for two contests I volunteered for.

Sounds like a great signing! And COOL on the handprint thing. hehe
I probably won’t get to sit down to write until late tonight, but if I get some time this afternoon, I’ll email ya!
Sounds good. I am actually working on a story board. I seem to have caught the crude everyone has and writing creatively is just not happening today. But, I can work on plot boards, lol.(yeah, I am a workaholic)
Melissa, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you at our shared signing and handprint session. Last night my daughter’s face lit up when I handed her THE ACCIDENTAL COUNTESS, and she was delighted by your sweet message.
As for the photos on your web page–WOOHOO, indeed.
Oh, that is so wonderful. I hope she enjoys it.
