Okay, so I am a reader just like you all. As many of you know if you read the Samhain blog, I had to deal with some serious bouts of depression this year because of everything that went on in my life. It is my one thing I can escape with. And, it helps me in my writing. Again, many of you probably know about The Clan. If not, you need to check out TheCursedClan.com for info. Anyway, I am going to finally tackle the first book. If I don’t Shelley Bradley might beat me. She looks all sweet, but she can be mean, I promise, lol.
So, I am trying to get into writing about some sexy Scots, and I need some help. Do you have any favorite book, any genre, that has some sexy Scots? Or, better yet, can you offer up your favorite paranormal series to help me get in the mood?
here’s my purty trailer
This goes until tomorrow morning at 10 am central. I will be drawing three winners, all for Grace Under Pressure:)

Melissa, I loved the youTube for The Cursed Clan. I can’t think of a single title that has all the elements you want.
I love Hannah Howell’s highland books, Christine feehan’s paranormal ones, and Lora Leighs heat and mix of everything.
I would love a combo of Hannah’s strong determined heros and Feehan’s paranormal mind enhanced heros. Your usual deep and well plotted story would finish it off verra nicely. The extra heat is not needed with it, but would be an extra bonus.

I can’t think of Scots at the moment. Paranormal? Of course, there’s the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Lara Adrian is pretty fabulous. If you are looking for a paranormal series, or the beginning of one, that’s a bit Urban Fantasy, with Romantic Elements that’s just great!
I have the first Stephenie Meyer on my TBR shelf as well as Susan Squires, LKH (Yup, haven’t tried her yet), so could you ask me again in a few months? LOL
Hmm… Sexy Scots… Karen Moning’s books are on my TBR, as are Monica McCarty’s. And someone’s recommended Annette Blair’s The Scot, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for a touch of the funny
I’m intrigued by your premise–can’t wait to hear/read more!

I love Karen Hawkins MacLean curse series. It has a sort of paranormal twist to it as the family affects the weather. Great series. I also love LKH’s Anita Blake series for the sexy vamps and other sexy beasties. LOL

Hi Mel!! Yep I believe it with Shelley :)And too I bet once you get into these Scots, you’d be having goosebumps! I actually am reading one by Donna Fletcher. And its great. She’s one. Here’s a few others, since I so love Scots!
Donna Fletcher, any
Hannah Howell (She has so many that picking up any would get you a feel of hers)
Sara Bennett. I just read the 4 related books of hers! She has it all in her books
Marsha Canham. Sadly she retired, but she has just some wonderful rich reads
Paula Quinn. Shes a more recent author
Teri Brisban. She writes them under Harlequin Historicals
Amanda Scott, like Howell, has many books as well.
Too theres some good one too in ebooks:
Donna Grant-anything goes!
Louisa Trent (wiith LID) heard she has a new one out! ICON. Also LADY OF TWO LAIRDS
If you know of any, in ebook and print, I too would love to hear about them. I so can’t wait for these from you!

I’d recommend Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander books - all of them are very good. Hannah Howell has a lot of Highland books - I liked the Highlander vampire books: Highland Thirst, Highland Vampire, The Eternal Highlander. Janet Chapman’s Highlander series are time-travel books which I also enjoyed. Also, The Bride & The Secret by Julie Garwood are set in Scotland. Two of my favorites!
I am looking forward to The Cursed Clan.

I can’t think of anything that has already been listed. How about Bad Boys in Kilts by Donna Kauffman? I haven’t read it yet so I don’t know how yummy the Scots are.

Hannah Howell and Kinley Macgregor have some very sexy Highlanders.
And paranormals? Well, I love to read J.R. Ward, Lynsay Sands, Vivi Anna,…
I posted this under the wrong blog, lol, so I am going to repost…Ugh, I am moving this weekend, and next week, too, Melissa. Gah…it’s not been fun so far.
I love Karen Marie Monings Scots books…and of course, I’me very parital to Julie Garwoods Scots…The Bride, The Wedding, The Secret, Ransom…Karen’s are full of paranormal fae and warriors, but both come right to mind when I think of my very fav Scots. Scot warriors have such an deeply bred sense of honor, and the clans are a true joy to read about…and I do love Kinley MacGregor’s Scots, too…she writes some yummy ones…
