Turkey day and other things

Over on the Wicked blog I talk about my thankful stuff, but I wanted to wish all those who celebrate Thanksgiving a happy Tday. It has been a crazy week at the Schroeder’s. We have been car shopping, and DSS was in her first play with LINES. She was super excited. I am looking foward to having some slow days ahead of us before the next round of holiday stuff starts. DSF is in two parades and has a concert before Christmas.
Friday, I am going to see my wonderful massage therapist Alex. For those of you who don’t know, I suffer from a massive muscle spasm thanks to a damaged disc that sits on it. I am trying to avoid surgery or living my life on drugs and Alex has been a godsend. I am all jazzed because I am doing a 2 hour session, one hour of massage, and an hour of Reiki. If you have never tried Reiki, I highly recommend it. I know a lot of people would doubt its ability to help, but it truly does. I have never felt so positive after a treatment. I felt all energized and ready to take on the world. So, from now on, I am getting at least one of those treatments a month and I am thinking of learning how to do it myself.
In writing news, I am tying up the loose strings of A Little Harmless Kalikimaka, the free short story for Samhain. I don’t have a release date on it yet, but it will be in December. I am also polishing up Conquering India for edits and finishing up the rewrite of Hands On Training. I have been finding myself yearning to dive into a historical. One of the first things on my agenda after the new year is to work on The Spy Who Loved Her. Very excited about that:) I am also going to finish up The Hammons’ Woman, and cross my fingers that the publisher will want it:)
Again, please have a safe and happy holiday weekend! I hope you and your friends and family find nothing but wonderful good times this weekend.
First Physical Therapy Appointment this morning

And I am not looking forward to it. Still, I am hoping this works. If it doesn’t, the word surgery will come up, and that scares the bejesus out of me. Mainly because the recovery time is very long, possibly 6 weeks to 3 months of no work. I really don’t want it to come to that. So cross your fingers:)
Also, check out my bud Selena. She is featuring menages all month and authors are talking about their books and their views on menage.
Off to get ready for my appointment me
